25 weeks

How far along: 25 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +1lb

Maternity clothes: Absolutely

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sleep? What is this sleep thing you speak of? 2:30 am is NOT my friend right now.

Best moment this week: Not sure this week. Nothing really significant to speak of. I'll have to think on this one!

Movement: Absolutely! This little Fig Newton (Figgy) is a gymanst! Holy tumbling Batman!

Food Cravings: Fruit!! mmmmm yummy!

Food Aversions: Nah, just picky about what I am in the mood for.

Gender: I'm leaning towards girl, not sure why though.

Belly Button: still in but flattening out.

What I miss: a solid nights sleep....but I am guessing I am going to be missing this for a very long time!

What I am looking forward to: Beginning to work on the "nursery" We have a crib (THANKS MEME AND PAPI!!!) and we bought some units that are 9 cubes that form a square or rectangle. We got two tall ones and one short. They screw together to become a wall unit and little fabric drawers slide in. This way, when baby gets old enough to have fun pulling stuff off the shelves they are soft, not hard drawers and we don't have to worry! Although, the mess will be something else.

Weekly Wisdom: It is amazing how significantly worse the annoying administrator is when you are sleep deprived. He really is super obnoxious. I have mental daydreams of poking him in the eyes a la three stooges.

Milestones: Making it past 24 weeks. In a very weird approach to thinking many women (especially those of us who have to work so dilligently to even get pregnant) just await getting to 24 weeks. Although absolutely not ideal, doctors associate 24 weeks with viability. If for some horrible reason baby was born after 24 weeks, it is generally thought that baby's prognosis for survival is high. Before 24 weeks, doctors generally do not believe that a baby would be able to be supported outside of it's mother. We are obviously keeping baby in as long as possible, but it is reassuring to get to 24 weeks.

We are starting to set up the nursery finally. Looks like painting is in our near future. I'll be sure to post pictures of the nursery progress as it moves along.

Love you guys!
