HHHHHHHMM So here goes..... incase you haven't heard....or figured it out from Mia's loose lips on facebook......or from the Auntie comments...... we are finally, officially, pregnant!

I know, crazy right? It has been a loooooooooooong road to get here and we are super excited but just as super nervous. I figure I should do some sort of weekly update so I guess now is a good time to start. So, here goes.

This is how it started:

Then there was 10w4d:

No picture week 11 but here is today, 12w3d:

So that is what we have so far. But just incase you wanted more information..... I figure I'll add something like this each week:

How far along: 12 weeks.... ok 12weeks3days
Total weight gain/loss: -4 yup thats right....getting pregnant=weight loss?
Maternity clothes: Not quite but getting close, comfort wise!
Stretch marks: noper...although not sure that I will be actually answering these all the time...slightly TMI
Sleep: Wishing I was sleeping better. Still pretty tired, but beginning to feel better.
Best moment this week: Had an appointment Saturday and got to hear that crazy heartbeat! Sounds like a choo-choo train!
Movement: Nope, not gonna feel that yet.
Food cravings: Still nothing..wishing for craving anything!
Food aversions: A lot! It changes by the day and by the minute. It is very difficult to pack a lunch when by the time lunch time arrives what you packed doesn't sound appetizing anymore!
Gender: No clue
Belly Button in or out: Still in I think that should stay that way for a while.
What I miss: SUSHI!!!
What I am looking forward to: Halloween!! Yippee!! And, it means only 25 days until a girl reunion!
Weekly Wisdom: Breakfast for dinner really is quite yummy!
Milestones: Knowing that we are almost done with the first trimester! Crazy huh?

So, that is it for now. Now you all know and now you all have a place to keep up with everything!

AWWWW--yeah!!! Ok, ladies, for reals, we have got to put this thing back on point.....i am astounded that it has actually been exactly one year from my last post. I think after that i lost my camera....which I am happy to say has been magically relocated. Pics of the new house soon to come, but for now, i can say that i am so happy and grateful for our new home. It is warm, heated by gas, super quiet, has a garage (!), was built 3 mos ago, has new plumbing, and, best of all, and most surprising due to it's location in Santa Cruz, NO MOLD!!!! WOw. Each morning i walk to the end of the street and slip thru a hole in the wrought iron fence with Pooka and walk down to the river trail at the levy. What a way to start the morning; warm mug of tea, river flowing and slowly growing as winter creeps on, herons and other birds eating and being. Oh yeah, and the stream of homeless who are waking up too at that time. I can walk to work and downtown Pacific Ave in 10 minutes or less. YAY!!!

So....yeah, what does the little bugger call me? Auntie Brie is just way to boring. Hmmm...any thoughts?

I love my job! Things have been picking up, finally, and this week i am seeing 21 patients, including an a last minute breech baby turning treatment tonight. The Group Detox project was a huge success. Tonight was our last group check-in meeting, and everyone who did the cleanse for the last 3 weeks feels awesome and is really excited to keep eating the way they have been. It has been so rewarding to not only feel such great clarity and simplicity in my own body and mind, but to literally watch the changes each week in my clients. I am now eating gluten-free for the time being, and it is really fun to come up with new inspiring recipes, esp after the double chocolate chip cookies i made yesterday! Check out the recipe on Goop.com, and look up Baby Cakes NYC also. We are so going when we go to New York for New Years!!!

I still don't know how i am getting to PDX ffor Turkey week, but i am coming if it means walking or hitchhiking (dad if you are reading this, just kidding about the last part--those days are over! What was i thinking?!?!?)

Lexi thanks for my lulu G.C! I am super excited to get my new pants.

Tomorrowis first official day off since we moved....i am going to do office work and drink tea and stretch adn take a bath in my new tub, and walk with pooka, and read, and maybe repot some of my house plants.

Ok Lovies--tag, jeje, you're it!!

A New Year!

Ladies... how we have upheld the Wieselman name by slacking on the updates and being late with regards to EVERYTHING! Good thing we are so loveable... he he

Life is good! This year is such a great one huh? Both of you two have given me the best news that I have EVER heard- and it has been the cause of such a good outlook for me for the year : ) Thank you.

I am in love with the place that we live. I finally found the right spot in Portland- the Northeast- just one block from New Seasons (the best local natural food store), five blocks from our friend Andy, five blocks from Ali and Jeremiah's house, and five from Lauren, Timmy, and Adam's house too! Across the street lies not only Peninsula park, a beautifully manicured masterpiece, but also the original rose gardens. Every day the park reminds me of the scene from Alice and Wonderland when they are painting the roses red! Cooper has a good yard, and our duplex-neighbors are GREAT. They are our age, very chill, and have two pups of their own who keep coop company all of the time. It is so cute; when we leave our back doors open, the two boys will rome in and out of both of the sides of the house like little five year olds playing both moms for a snack. Living with Tessa is great. She is my best friend, and we are in awe at how well everything has worked out. Lately we have been making fires, reading, cooking up stews, carving pumpkins, and making crafts. It makes me miss you guys every time I sit down to the kitchen table to create something kid-like. I remember so well all of the times the three of us sat with mom at the kitchen table and made femo, or stamps, or jewelry, or shrink-its! I also remember us all being around when Mom would stay up with Brie until 4am finishing remarkable high school art projects. Do you have any copies of your old art that I could frame in my house?

Work is good too! I am officially the Assistant Operations Manager, and get to be in charge of a lot more stuff than I had been... it feels better- feels like I am being challenged and actually using some of my business education skills now. I am so looking forward to becoming a merchandiser though!!! I really hope that manifests by the end of the year, and I have a good feeling it may : )

My friends are unbelievable- I can not wait for you to meet them. We have this little family that all live in the neighborhood. We bike to each other's places on the daily, and find ourselves enjoying each other's company at bonfires, wine wednesdays, taco tuesdays, pumpkin carving parties, potlucks, clothing exchanges, or whatever other excuse we conjure up to be together. Last Thursdays have been fun, and so have our friends having shows at local bars.

No boy on the home from right now... im pretty sure you both know the latest with regards to all that... Send some lookers my way please!! Have you both been slacking?? Remember, a guys guy, good with his hands, big personality, pony tails are okay in my book, good eyes, smile, and talented in some way. Thank you! heh heh

I love you both so much and can not wait to hear the updates- you both have some CRAZY good ones, i know it : )

Love you to the moon and back. "G'snoopy, and everything we used to say"

Can not wait for our TWO reunification's this year!

XO,
Mima <----p.s. this is what the little bugger should call me i think, right? hehe
